Sanjay Sharma is an experienced climate change, health, safety, and social specialist with years of professional experience in Environmental and Social Screening, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Resettlement and Rehabilitation Studies, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Management, Environment and Social Due-Diligence studies (ESDD) of infrastructure and industrial projects. He has worked in India, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and Uganda in IFC, ADB, World Bank, and other multilateral agencies funded assignments.

Mr. Sharma possesses in-depth knowledge of global climate change, social standards, global and Indian E&S legislations, the World Bank guidelines on E&S assessment, IFC Performance Standards (IFC-PS), Equator Principles (EP), and ADB safeguard documents on involuntary resettlement, indigenous people and environmental assessment, and R&R implementation and monitoring. He is a CQI - IRCA certified Lead Auditor for Management Systems based on ISO 45001.
