Vivek Kumar is an Electrical Engineer with a Masters in Industrial & Management Engineering. He also holds an MBA with a specialization in Human Resource Management. He started his professional career as an Industrial Engineer and held the role of CHRO in large organizations. Mr. Kumar has a rich and diverse experience of over 35 years with top public and private sector companies in IT, ITES, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Renewable Energy, and Petroleum industries, handling varied portfolios at senior positions. He has a keen interest in Leadership Investment Strategy, Capability Development, Organization Design, High-Performance Systems, Culture Transformation, Total Rewards & People Engagement, and has effectively designed and implemented organization-wide interventions in these areas.
He has led the development and implementation of the Behavioural Competency framework linking all aspects of Talent in the organization, right from Talent Acquisition to Goal setting, Performance Management, Capability Development, Career Growth, Job Rotation, and Succession Planning, at all levels from Individual contributors to Enterprise Leaders. Mr. Kumar has been part of various panels and special groups formed by varied associations like the Confederation of Indian Industries, the National Association of Software and Services Companies, and more.
